About the Journal

    Madabo Journal of Humanities is the official journal of the Faculty of Humanities at Northwest University Kano, Nigeria. It is an international, interdisciplinary, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to promoting high-quality scholarship in the humanities and related fields.

    The journal publishes original empirical research, innovative and cutting-edge studies, review articles, creative works, case studies, and technical reports. Its scope includes, but is not limited to: English Language and Literature, Linguistics, Arts and Culture, Religion, Diplomacy, Islamic Studies, Hausa Language, Literature and Linguistics, Arabic Language, Literature and Linguistics, International Studies, History, and other allied disciplines within the humanities.


    Madabo Journal of Humanities serves as a platform for advancing and expanding the frontiers of knowledge among academics, researchers, administrators, policymakers, and students worldwide. To enhance accessibility, citation, and long-term visibility, each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring permanent linking and reliable referencing.


    As an international journal, its editorial board and team of reviewers consist of experienced and distinguished scholars drawn from universities and research institutions across different parts of the world, representing diverse areas within the humanities and related disciplines.
