The Madabo Journal of Humanities, the official journal of the Faculty of Humanities at Northwest University Kano, maintains a clear copyright and licensing policy to guide authors and users of published materials.
1. By submitting an article to the
journal, the author(s) agree that the work may be published under the Creative
Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
This allows the journal to make the article openly accessible while ensuring
proper acknowledgment of the author(s) and the source.
2. The journal reserves the right to
produce, reproduce in any format, and distribute all materials submitted and
published in the journal without limitation, as part of its mandate to promote
the dissemination of scholarly research.
3. Authors are required to submit
manuscripts that are not under consideration for publication in any other
journal. Once an article is accepted and published by the journal, it should
not be submitted elsewhere for publication.
4. Provided that appropriate credit is
given to the author(s) and the journal, noncommercial use of the published
articles is permitted. Such use may include printing, sharing, linking, and
distribution for academic and research purposes.
5. Publication of an article in the
journal implies that the author(s) have transferred the copyright of the work
to the journal. Consequently, the journal holds the copyright to all articles
it publishes without restriction. Nevertheless, authors may still use their
articles and other works published in the journal for noncommercial purposes,
provided that proper attribution is given to the author(s) and the journal.
