Plagiarism Policy

    The Madabo Journal of Humanities, the official journal of the Faculty of Humanities at Northwest University Kano, maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.

    Plagiarism, in any form, is considered a serious violation of academic and publishing ethics and is not acceptable under any circumstances. In today’s digital and technologically advanced academic environment, instances of plagiarism can be easily detected. Therefore, authors are strongly advised to avoid all forms of plagiarism and ensure that their submissions are entirely original.


    The journal is committed to maintaining high academic standards and will not hesitate to reject any manuscript found to contain plagiarized content at any stage of the review or editorial process. Authors are solely responsible for the originality of their work, and the journal shall not be held liable for any act of plagiarism committed by contributors.


    Contributors are strongly encouraged to:

    • Properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in their work.
    • Exercise caution when referencing or using previously published materials.
    • Use reputable plagiarism detection tools to verify that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism before submission.
